HMP Recycled

Traditional Islamic paper from North India, handmade from raw and recycled sunn hemp. Made on a grass stem screen (chapri), leaving a laid pattern. Dried on a plaster wall and surface sized with wheat starch. Pressed between zinc sheets for smoothness. Suitable for calligraphy and fine brush or pen work.
